Update on things going on in my life - January 2023

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I have posted an actual blog on my website. I did previously share my experience and what I have gone through from 2017-2020.  I felt they weren’t the me that I am now. 

Though in September 2021 I did pursue a new job to only have them let me go in 8 days. After that was the worst I have ever been in my life. I was only freelancing at the time and it was not helping at all financially. Especially when we had my Daughter in daycare still just so I had time to look for a job. But for 5-6 months I was unemployed and had no luck finding a full-time job. 

I got to the point where I was so desperate I ended up taking a job that hired me on the spot in February 2022. Which was the Culver’s they opened up in Medina, OH. I did have a virtual interview with my Boss I have now through American Greetings before I started training and working at Culver’s. 

About the 2nd-3rd week into the job at Culver’s I ended up getting a 2nd interview in person at AG. Never did I expect to have only worked at Culver’s for a month and get hired at American Greetings. Put in my two weeks notice at Culver’s and basically had a week off before I started my new job. 

It is now January 2023 and I still really love my job. My Boss and co-workers have made it very welcoming to be part of the team. It’s been the best job I have ever had. It’s been the happiest year of my life. 

This year I hope to start doing some craft shows in the summer or fall. Can’t wait for big things this year! I definitely will do the AG flea again this winter. It was very fun to do! 

I hope 2023 will keep being a good year for me and I hope everyone else has a better year. I know how rough it can be to go through some rough patches.
